You are totally responsible for where you are in life today. You all have choices – every day of your lives – and the choices you have made in the past is why you are where you are today. Where you will be tomorrow will be down to the choices you make today. So choose wisely.
You create your own problems. You cannot blame the problems you have on someone or something else. You are the problem to your problems and the sooner you wake up to that fact, the sooner you will start moving forward. Too many people are too quick to blame external situations for where they are in life.
What you have to start doing is not look at the problem but look at the opportunity the problem creates. If you keep looking at the problem, you will only ever see more problems. If you look at possibilities, you will see opportunities. If you don’t want problems, then do nothing. The more you strive for success, the more problems you will have. Welcome them, but look at the opportunities within them. Look at the problems as opportunities to learn. Do not run from them.
When you look for opportunities, you will always see more opportunities. As one door opens there will be another 10 doors behind that door. You just have to open the door. Your problem is not the problem, its your attitude about the problem. If your mind is not right and you focus on negatives, you will never see the opportunities. A healthy positive mind will always help you to build a better, more secure business.
Failure to spot opportunities in your business could have serious future repercussions. You need to be aware of them and act upon them to make sure you stay ahead of your competitors. I can give you so many stories of business failures due to owners of these businesses not spotting opportunities and when the demise of these businesses finally happened, they blamed it on external circumstances – and not on their own failure to spot and act upon opportunities.
